I'm Anthony Clark, the owner of Spare Oom Vending, LLC.

I have lived most of my adult life in North Texas. Like Daniel Boone, "I wasn't born in Texas, but I got here as fast as I could." I am proud to serve the North Texas area.

Why the Name Spare Oom?

It's a nod to C.S. Lewis' Chronicles of Narnia. In the first book, "The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe," the faun Mr. Tumnus mistakenly thinks Lucy comes from a far-away magical land, "Spare Oom." She had actually told him that she had stepped into the wardrobe in the spare room and had been transported to Narnia.

Several years ago, while in Oxford, we had a chance to tour Lewis' home, known as The Kilns. It was there that he wrote the Chronicles of Narnia. This is a photo I took of the front entrance.
